Human Being As Me
06:21
|
|||
I’m lying here down on the floor
This day passed by too, so familiar
Staring up above, thinking of you
Trapped inside this room, full of regrets
Through the wooden door near me
Life still goes on, does an end to all exist?
Will we ever be free men again?
Life seems so tough
Point of contact with humanity
Lost and not found
A forced smile, printed on my face
Fake friends all around, and still no boundaries
with human beings as me
If I should die, within these four walls
Nobody will, miss my presence
Hypocrisy shall rise
World is so strange observed from here
Life seems so tough
Point of contact with humanity
Lost and not found

The Hourglass
09:22
|
|||
Here lies in darkness an entire life
Demons and angels watching over them
A fragment of light
Memories held so tight
Visions of their mind
Pervading space around
Past life, remorses
Always a sense of helplessness
Sand in the hourglass
It can not run in reverse
Don’t waste precious time
Being so ashamed of you
Be yourself, don’t turn your back
Face your fears and be free
Speak to me honestly
Aren’t you tired to blame?
Did you realize that heaven and hell
Are a creation of your life?

Struggle
05:27
|
|||
In a land far from here
The struggle for survive is real
Eyes of a mother filled with tears and pain
Children play in the street with their dreams
None shouldn’t wait ‘till the final day
Expectations stretched out, throat is dry
Will we ever see a new day?
Sparkling lights in the mall
Useless smartphones
The screen you see is an illusion
The cry of a boy
For a new videogame
Deprivation of innocence
While starvation’s the trend
And the war has come to keep our wellness
It is not so hard to understand
Will we ever see a bit of fairness?
Two parts of world becoming one
The desire of a better life
And the oblivion of simple things
Egoistical needs and hedonism
Limitless consumption of our souls
There’s concern about job terminations
While a population starts to die
And the war has come to keep our wellness
It is not so hard to understand
Will we ever see a bit of fairness?
Two parts of world becoming one

Forgotten
05:57
|
|||
Mind’s recalling all those days
When the sun was brighter
And the mountain top seemed not so far
The phone rang out through the door
Eyes filled with new hopes
We haven’t seen for so long, my friend
Getting used to the dirt
Lack of shine of the soul
Awaiting the rise
Good old times once again
As I get through time and space
And my experience grows much stronger
Wedding days are not for me
Lost the chance to set ‘em free
Drifted wanders through the night
And he feels his sadness
He believes to deserve more
Silence overload his ears
Getting used to the dirt
Lack of shine of the soul
Awaiting the rise
Good old times once again
Once you’ve loved, you lost all
None matter, no more
Feeling the sensation
And it grows more strong
Now you raise a prayer
Not to be forgotten
Bring inside a fire
On and on, again
We were used to be
So young and bold
A shelter raised to the sky
Hiding ourselves

While I was wandering in a night without clouds
Filled with alcohol and smoke
Suddenly I felt a void in my chest
All my life passed away
Now I’m fearing
To live without changes
To get lost
Don’t try to run away
While you’re getting old
So easy to fade away
The hunger wants more
This sensation of something missing
When I’m all alone
It won’t get better, I must leave
I am not coming home
Now I’m fearing
To live without changes
To get Lost
Don’t try to run away
Facing your ghosts
So easy to fade away
Disappearing once more
